Communication Update Week of 3/23
We hope you are all doing well! The “Stay at Home” order is still in place. We know you would like to have access to the gym but we must follow the Governor's orders. There are a lot of great work-out videos on YouTube that are free.
We received a fun email from the residents on Botero. They held a Social Distancing Happy Hour. Everyone came out to their driveway to toast one another, played some music on a loudspeaker and it seemed to boost everyone’s spirits while practicing 6 feet apart from one another. Thank you for sharing and what a clever idea!
There appears to be a slowdown in panic shopping at the local grocery stores. We have observed shorter lines and more items are still stocked.
Continue to practice Social Distancing and stay safe & healthy.
Weird Facts
#1:The sun and the moon appear to be the same size because of an astonishing coincidence: the moon is 400 times smaller than the sun but 400 times closer.
#2: When a massive power outage struck southern California in the 1990s, Los Angeles residents reportedly called 911 to express alarm about strange clouds hovering overhead; they were seeing the Milky Way for the first time.
#3: Dogs get sprayed by skunks so often because skunks lift their tails as a warning and dogs see this as an invitation to sniff - which is the exact opposite message from what the skunk is trying to send.
