Presidents Message

Welcome To the Gallery Michael Pratali

The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Pratali as the General Manager of the Gallery, replacing Lauren Donovan who is being promoted to Director of Community Management at Seabreeze Corporate Offices.

Mike Pratali is a seasoned General Manager at Seabreeze Management Company, Inc., where he provided exceptional service to the large-scale associations he managed in Orange County. Prior to being a General Manager, he was a Portfolio Manager for seven (7) associations which included a total of 960 homes, single-family, and condominiums.

In the almost 5 years that Mike has been in the Property Management Industry, he has cultivated professional relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality services are provided among his associations.  Mike has worked with the Board of Directors, Finance Committee and Management Company to help assist with the creation of the Association’s annual operating and reserve budgets.

Mike lives in Rancho Santa Margarita with his wife and daughter.  They are expecting another daughter in July. He enjoys spending time with his family, attending country concerts and vacationing at the river with family and friends.

Please join us in welcoming Mike to the Gallery.

COVID-19 Update

Orange Turns to Yellow - The End of the Tunnel is Near

There is light at the end of the tunnel! Even though Orange County continues to stay in the Orange tier (Moderate Risk), we are close to moving up to the Yellow tier (Minimal Risk). This means we may soon be able to open up a bit more. Once in the Yellow tier, up to 24 persons will be able to gather on the Patio, and 55 persons can be in the pool area. Please remember there can be no sharing of any food or drinks with members outside your household. Masks and social distancing are still strongly recommended in all club facilities.

Once Orange County moves to the Yellow tier, the fitness center will increase to no more than six (6) residents at any time.  The Billiards Room will increase to no more than sixteen (16) residents at any time.  The MPR will increase to no more than twenty four (24) residents at any time and the cardroom will increase to no more than twelve (12) residents at any time.

While we continue to stay in the Orange tier and when we move into the Yellow tier please remember all groups and activities must continue to use court reserve and must sign the release form to use the club facilities.

All outdoor amenities remain open.

Did You Know?

Spring Cleaning Reminder For Your Landscape Drains?

It is important owners remember to complete maintenance on their landscape drain lines.  These drains are located in your back and side yards.  This can be cleared by hydro jetting the lines of any debris that may be clogging them.  When it rains and you notice your drains are slow or are pooling it could mean your drain line is clogged.

All homeowner drain lines are the maintenance, repair, and replacement responsibility of each homeowner.  You can contact your landscaper, plumber, or some street sweeping companies.  Make sure you obtain bids on this service as plumbers can be costly.   You will be surprised by the cost savings when using a street sweeping company to provide hydro-jetting service to the drain line. Remember to always get bids on services.

Gallery Give & Take

Give_Take

Spring is here, the flowering plants are in bloom, there is a bit more sunshine and we can start to take off those heavy sweaters and jackets.  It’s time to get out and enjoy the outdoors! Fortunately, there are many lovely walks and hikes throughout our community.  A great place to start is by checking out the map of trails and hikes on the City of San Clemente website.   Also on the website is a description and pictures of each one of these hikes.  Check out our Gallery Give and Take page on the website  for more recommendations from your Gallery neighbors.  A delightful evening is watching the sun set from one of the trails near the Outlets, the Sea Summit Trail, and then stopping for a glass of wine downtown or a quick dinner at one of the restaurants in the area.

May is also a month with many celebrations.  Not sure what all those might be?  Be sure to read the article on the Give and Take page, Rec Committee Recommends.  You will find that May offers many interesting surprises. Did you know there is a National Eat What You Want Day?

Next month let’s share some of your favorite shows available to watch or stream on TV?  Since we are not going out to the movies or concerts much, TV has become our primary form of entertainment.  What have you enjoyed?  You can enter your information on the Gallery Give and Take page or send your recommendations to Mary Dean at marygdean@ymail.com or (949)433-7456.
