Follow-Up for Apple Products - Password Manager

Hi All,

You are receiving this email from the Gallery Tech Team as a follow-up to your registration (and participation) in the Password Manager for Apple Products Workshop.

We area aware that many participants were unable to complete the installation of a password manager prior to the close of the workshop. Because the recommendations by cybersecurity experts to use a password manager are so strong, and because our experience since the workshop is that many of you could benefit from individual assistance, the Gallery Tech Team is offering an opportunity for individual appointment times.

The focus of these appointment times will be

Password Security.

While the priority will be on the installation and use of a password manager, other password security topics may also be addressed at your request. Experts in the field recommend:

  • Make sure each of your passwords is unique and at least 12 characters in length
  • Use a Password Manager so you don't have to remember them or write them down
  • Use two Factor Authentication as an additional level of security
  • Use Passkeys when available

Appointments will be available from 2 to 4 pm on specified Fridays in the Clubhouse Conference Room, and are designed to be 40 minutes in length.

The first appointment opportunity for Gallery residents of households where all devices are Apple will be Friday, August 8.
