Lauren Donovan, Editor

February 19, 2021

Good Afternoon,

We have some important information in this email blast so please read it in its entirety.

Please click to view the BOD meeting agenda (click-me) for Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 4:30 PM- Via Zoom.

This agenda may also be viewed on the easel located at the front door to the clubhouse or you may visit the Board of Directors' on the Galley webpage.

Scam Calls

We have been receiving Scam calls today and wanted to inform the community in case anyone gets a call from them too.

The caller is stating they are with SDGE and our power is being turned off for non-payment.  He wanted payment to stop the power from being turned off.  SDGE also advised us, due to the pandemic they are not sending any notices for past due accounts as they are not turning anyone's power no matter their account status.

Never give payment information over the phone unless you know whom you're giving payment to.   You can also verify the information by looking your account up online or contacting SDGE directly.

The number that has called the office was 949.506.2431 and stated San Juan Capistrano on the caller ID.  Scammers can manipulate the caller ID to state any number and name.

Annual Meeting Page Now Available on the Gallery website!

We have created a new page on the Gallery website, for the Annual Meeting!  You can find the Annual Meeting AgendaElection Rules (also found on the Governing Documents page),  and the Zoom meeting link.

Cox- Planned Service Outages!

We have been notified that Cox will be in the Gallery on February 25th to replace two of their Pedestals.  Cox will be replacing one on De Vega and one on Calle Galeria.  We were told service will be interrupted for some owners connected to these pedestals.  Cox informed us it will take them a full day to complete the replacements.

Cox has also notified us of a planned outage on March 2nd. We have not been given a timeframe for this outage.  Cox stated we will be notified within 2 days prior to the scheduled outage.  This will affect the Clubhouse so we will not have access to emails or the phone while this outage is taking place. We were also informed it may affect the community residents as well.

The Recreation Committee Wants You!

The Recreation Committee has multiple seats opening for a two-year term.  As the State moves closer with its reopening plans,  we look forward to scheduling our future 2021 events!

We are now accepting applications! Please complete the Committee application and submit it to Amy Bone at amy.bone@seabreezemgmt.com.  You may click the button below for the application or visit the Gallery Website and click forms to select the Committee application form.

Applications will be accepted until February 28th and interviews will be scheduled shortly after.

Gallery Annual Pine Tree Removals & Trimming Project (TMC)

Starting on Monday, February 22nd TMC will be starting the annual Pine Tree removals and trimming. Artistic Maintenance will be performing this work.

There will be a total of 22 Pine Trees removed due to health and safety issues. TMC's Arborist walked each tree within the Gallery and determined that these trees need to be removed. The Pine's that are not removed will be thinned and laced out to help the overall health of these trees.

Please be aware that there will be chainsaws and loud noises during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope you understand that this is for the overall health and safety of all Pine Trees within the Gallery.

Please do not contact Gallery Management with your concerns.
