Ad Hoc Strategic Development Landscape Committee

The purpose of this committee is to represent the Board of Directors in medium and long-term strategic development, budget and implementation plan for projects related to Gallery landscaping.

The Gallery Online Sale

Have an item in good condition but you no longer use? The Gallery Online Sale is the place to let other Gallery residents know what you'd like to sell and your asking price.

Here's how it works:i

  1. Open the Gallery Resident Items For Sale webpage.
  2. Using your tablet or phone, click 'here' to add your sale item to the list.
  3. Complete the form including a photo and Click Submit.
  4. Your item will be added to the list instantly.

Here are the rules:

  • Your item will only be seen by Gallery residents since a log in is required to view the list.
  • Your item will automatically be deleted if still on the list 30 days after submission.
  • You are expected to inform the Gallery Office if your item sells so it can be removed from the list.

The Coach House

The Coach House is a live music venue in our own backyard. Located on Camino Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano, The Coach House features a wide array of live entertainment including national and international touring groups, aspiring artists. as well as established entertainers, cover or tribute bands, and even local bands trying to acquire a fan base. For our Gallery audience there are “big band” sounds, groups from the 60’s and 70’s, jazz, blues, as well as more current fare.

 Board Meeting Highlights

  • The Board appointed Mike Beaupre to complete the term of recently resigned member Bob Curtin.  Mike will serve as Board Treasurer. Meet Mike.
  • Approved the 2023 Board Election to be by acclamation since only 3 candidates applied for the 3 vacancies. Each candidate will serve a 2-year term ending 3/29/25.
    • Russ Lines: Meet Russ
    • Sheila Forchtner: Meet Sheila
    • Janet Heidorn: Meet Janet
  • Approved for rejuvenation several landscape areas identified by Harvest.
  • Approved the installation of topper for the Bocce Courts.
  • Approved a proposal by the Website Committee to extend the scope of their charter to include other data and communication technologies, and to change their name to Information Technology Committee.
  • Appointed Lori Buck to serve as a member of the Recreation Committee.

To safe list a vehicle, you no longer need a paper on your window. You may safe list your guest vehicle 24 hours a day. Instructions are on the Gallery Website for How to Safelist a Vehicle.

Gate Code Change

We announced the gate code had changed by replacing # with *.  We still have a large number of resident vendors and guests that have not been informed of the gate code change.  Please share this with your guests.
